In an effort to provide an improved level of service to customers, the Guyana Water Inc. will be undertaking works to upgrade its existing network in Georgetown.

This entails the installation of new 560mm HDPE transmission mains and replacement of distribution mains in a number of areas.

For the period September 6-12, residents of D’ Andrade Street are asked to take note, as works may include minor traffic diversion, dust & noise associated with the use of large equipment and temporary blockage of property entrances.

Persons who may experience damage to their water service connection are asked to contact either of the numbers listed below.

Other areas under the project include along Vlissengen Road, through Eping Avenue and Republic Street, Barima Avenue, DaSiliva, Garnett and Lamaha Streets.

Works will be undertaken by L.G.S Barnes General Construction and Civil Engineering.
