Catering and Management of Canteen
Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI), the Nation’s supplier of water and sanitation services is seeking the services of a caterer to operate and manage its canteen at the Corporate Complex (Shelterbelt) at 1 Vlissingen Road & Church Street, Bel Air, Georgetown.
GWI in now seeking Expression of Interest (EOI) for short listing of reputable firms/companies for the provision of catering and hospitality services for its Canteen.
The intending firms should have a proven track record of running and maintaining a similar type of service in a large reputable institution/ organization or providing services for a canteen of a large corporate house for:
i. Offsite cooking and onsite serving.
ii. Providing ready to eat multi cuisine food, snacks & beverages.
Iii Cater for approximately 75 to 100 persons on a daily basis.
Iv Cater for company functions and socials.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Should have minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as indicated above.
- The firm must have a commercial kitchen and make same available for inspection.
- The intending firms should have executed a single contract of G$1.5M per annum or two contracts of G$2M or more during the last 2 financial years.
- The firm should be registered/incorporated in Guyana.
- Valid NIS and GRA compliance certificates and appropriate license to run the catering service by Mayor and Town Council of Georgetown.

The Expression of Interest (EOI) should be submitted in a sealed envelope by super scribing the envelope with “Expression of Interest for GWI Canteen” with relevant enclosures to the following address.

The Expression of Interest should be deposited in the Management Tender Box located outside of the Boardroom at GWI Corporate Complex, Vlissengen Road & Church Street, Bel Air Park, and Georgetown on or before April 30, 2018 at 14:00 hours
GWI reserves the right to accept or reject any Expression of Interest (EOI) without assigning any reason and any liability or any obligation to inform the effected firms, grounds for GWI’s action. Expressions of Interest/Proposals are not binding on GWI.
