Region 4 – East Coast Demerara had a population of 111,936 persons and its operational areas ranged from Industry, Crown Dam east half, to Bygeval Mahaica on the east bank of the Mahaica River which is the boundary separating Regions 4 and 5. The operations cover a service area of 31,859 connections with 33,746 households and 34,492 customers.
